B体育’s Flight Ready program ensures a smooth start to each semester by assisting students and families with all necessary pre-enrollment tasks. To move into residence halls, participate in extracurriculars or athletics, and remain an enrolled student, please complete the following items before the start of each academic semester. Flight Ready Action Items

Admissions Enrollment Documentation (New Students Only)

All Required admissions documents have been received and filed with the University. These documents include:

  • Final, official high school transcripts, or
  • Final, official college transcripts
  • All required international admissions documents

Submit your $150 tuition deposit.

  • The $150 non-refundable tuition deposit reserves your seat at B体育 for the semester in which you were offered admission. Submit your tuition deposit or by calling 770-720-5520. The deposit also allows you to proceed with registering for New Student Orientation and housing, if you intend to reside on-campus. Once enrolled, the deposit will be applied toward your student account balance. The tuition deposit is not refundable.

Double-check your transfer credit evaluations.

All transfer students or first-time students with dual enrollment credit who submit their college transcripts will receive a credit evaluation(s). Double-check to ensure that all classes for which you believe credit should be received are listed. For more information on our credit transfer policies, see the Academic Catalog.

New Student Orientation (New Students – Undergraduate)

All new students within their semester of enrollment must complete New Student Orientation. New Student Orientation is a multi-part process which includes:

  • SOAR 鈥 (First-Time Freshmen, Transfer Students, Dual Enrollment Students) Takes place during the summer months and is a series of highly engaging 1-day sessions where you will meet your fellow classmates coming to B体育, learn about studying and living at B体育 and register for classes.
  • Flight School 鈥 (First-Time Freshmen, Transfer Students, Dual Enrollment Students) An online Canvas course to be completed asynchronously (self-paced, independently). Flight School will be like taking a class and includes different modules (units) covering campus resources and support services. Flight School will be available in July.
  • Eagle Bound 鈥 (First-Time Freshmen) Eagle Bound is a multi-day high-impact experience for new First-Time Freshmen the weekend prior to classes starting in the fall.

Registrar (New/Returning Students)

Students are required to have been advised and registered for courses prior to the beginning of each semester.

  • New Students 鈥 Once you have made your New Student Orientation reservation, you will have an interaction with an academic advisor to register for your first semester classes.
  • Returning Students 鈥 Contact your academic advisor to be cleared to register, then log into to register for your semester classes and/or view your class schedule.

Business Office (New/Returning Students)

Tuition and fees are due prior to the beginning of each semester. Students must have invoices paid in full for the current term or have an active payment plan in place.

  • Step 1: View your invoice in Eagleweb.

Log into to review your account. Information will be updated weekly until after drop/add. All registered students may view their student invoice by signing onto their Eagleweb account and then selecting Current Student > My Account > Course and Fee Statement > Generate Course and Fee Statement.

  • Step 2: Pay your Invoice.

Log into and then select Current Student. Choose Nelnet Enterprises on the left side of the screen to submit your tuition payment.

Payment Plans are available. B体育 partners with Nelnet Enterprise to offer access to student account information, payment plans and tuition protection plans. to access information and enroll in a payment plan. 听Nelnet also offers payment options for International Students through .

Student Health Center (New/Returning Students)

B体育 requires all students to submit their health and immunization records as well as insurance information to the Student Health Center.

To submit health records and insurance information visit Medicat, the Student Health Center鈥檚 electronic health record system. Medicat is accessible through the . You may log into MyB体育 portal using your B体育 credentials.

Within the MyB体育 portal click on the Medicat tab to submit the required information below:

  • Health History Form
  • Tuberculosis Questionnaire
  • Immunization Records
  • Proof of Medical Insurance-upload a copy of Insurance Card (front/back)

B体育 requires all students to activate their UWill telehealth platform. Uwill offers B体育 students 24/7 access to doctors, therapists, on-demand crisis counseling and wellness programming through its easy-to-use online platform.

Residential Education and Housing (New/Returning Commuter/Residential Students)

B体育 requires all students in the following categories to live on-campus in the residence halls:

  • All first-year students
  • All students receiving 50% or more of their tuition expenses from B体育 Institutional Aid

Students may apply to be exempt from living on campus if they meet the following criteria:

  • Living exclusively with parents or legal guardians in their/her/his primary residence within a 30-mile driving distance of B体育 as measured by Google Maps;
  • Married and/or live with dependents/children;
  • 24 years of age or older.

If a student believes they meet one of the above criteria, they must complete an Off Campus Application and be granted permission to move off-campus before they may do so.

On-Campus (Residential Students)

Housing is provided on a first-come, first-serve basis, so you are encouraged to submit your application and deposit early!

  • Step 1: Submit $200 Housing Deposit

  • Step 2: Submit Housing Application Form. The Housing Application is accessible through the . Within the MyB体育 portal click on the RU EagleWeb tab. Once you have logged into RU EagleWeb, click on 鈥淗ousing鈥 within the top menu bar then select the Housing Application to apply for housing. Carefully read the information on the Instructions page and then complete and submit the Housing Application.

Off-Campus (Commuter Students)

  • Submit Off-Campus Living Application Form. The Off-Campus Living Application is accessible through the . Within the MyB体育 portal click on the RU EagleWeb tab. Once you have logged into RU EagleWeb, click on 鈥淢y Housing Information鈥 then select the Off-Campus Living Application to apply to be a commuter student. Carefully read the information on the Instructions page and then complete and submit the application.

Flight Ready Check-in Date Sign-up (New/Returning and Commuter/Residential Students)

B体育 requires all students to sign-up and participate in a Flight Ready Check-in Date. To be clear, you must sign up for your Flight Ready date and time in advance.

  • Early Arrival Students August 4 (Football, Men鈥檚 and Women鈥檚 Soccer, Women鈥檚 Volleyball, Cross Country, and Marching Band Only)
  • New StudentsFriday, August 15
  • Returning StudentsSaturday, August 16

Once you have logged into RU EagleWeb, click on 鈥淔light Ready鈥 within the top menu bar then select the . Residential students will pick up their key at Flight Ready.

Flight Ready Ticket Status Policy

Gold Status

  • Students who have fully completed the Flight Ready clearance process 72-hours prior to their assigned arrival will receive a Gold Ticket notification with the following instructions:
  • Residents 鈥 Who are at Gold status will be able to skip the Flight Ready Check-in and proceed directly to the Residence Life stations to collect their room key and move into their assigned room on their assigned date.
  • Commuters 鈥 Who are at Gold status can skip the Flight Ready Check-in and do not have to come to campus on their assigned check-in date.

Blue Status

  • Students who have not completed the Flight Ready process and thus not at Gold status 72-hours prior to their assigned arrival will receive a Blue Ticket notification with the following instructions:
  • Residents 鈥 Who are at Blue status have to check-in at Flight Ready at the Hill Freman Library on their assigned check-in date and complete any remaining Flight Ready tasks prior to receiving their room key and moving into their room.
  • Commuters 鈥 Who are at Blue status are required to come to campus on their assigned Flight Ready check-in date and complete any remaining Flight Ready tasks.

Flight Ready Fine Policy

All students must complete the established Flight Ready Clearance Process at the beginning of each Fall and Spring semester.听 Failure to check-in and/or complete the Flight Ready Clearance Process will result in a $150 Flight Ready Fine. Only those students who have been previously approved by the Dean of Students are able to check-in outside of the established Fight Ready Clearance Process.
