We brought a copy of your Massareen drawing to our committee meeting, the original was with the framer. Our members were very impressed with the drawing and are so grateful to you for doing it in memory of our dearest Iso Aiken. Since then we have the original back from the framer and its looking sensational, we will take a pic of it and send on to you.

Oh, that Alice-what a precious puppy face! I was just messing around on the computer and came to the Torteval site and then yours and saw your latest. Colleen, you can capture the essence of the wolfhound so very well-great work! I just came back from work and opened the envelope with my little Pauline! What a wonderful and lovely painting, I've tears in my eyes and must say: I never could give this fantastic portrait away! and my painted baby-Pauline get tomorrow a lovely frame and a very special space in our living-room beside her daughter! So I can watch my little beauties again and again - every day!! Thank you and a big hug for you, you are a really generous artist!

The print arrived this morning along with the cards. We were both like children at Christmas opening a present. . . we just love your artwork. The print is out being framed now and I suspect one of the cards will wind up in a frame on Margaret's desk at work. My goodness . . . the WONDERFUL cards arrived this morning and I am OVER THE MOON, they are so much bigger than expected and the quality is superb . . . even individually wrapped!! Thank you . . . the wonderful new portrait of Mabel arrived today . . . we are both (Barney and I) constantly looking at it again and again . . . Barney's comment was that "it couldn't possibly be any other hound" and I do think he's right. You have captured our Mabel and I just love it! Thank you! I am going to take it in to be framed . . . either I'll do it tomorrow or I may leave it until next week so that I can enjoy it!!
