Well, here I am again! My mail just arrived and there your cards were!! They are beautiful. I shall only part with them for very special wolfhound friends-and of course keep one for framing. Thank you very much.

Just to let you know that I took the portrait of Mabel into The Colour Jar in Durham for framing the day after it arrived. It was much admired! I am pleased with my choice of frame etc. and am now waiting patiently for it to be completed. I have said that I am not in a hurry and that they are welcome to hang on to it for a while to show others your work and what it looks like framed!

I got the portrait framed and now it's hanging on the wall of the entrance hall of my house (where there is no direct sun light), so Ulli greets me everyday, every time I go out & come home:) I think you are not only talented in painting but also in communicating with dogs and sense their feelings. It is surprising that you painted it from one photo without seeing him alive.

It's taken me a long time to do as I keep having to stop for tears, but whenever I look at all our Colleen portraits they make me smile, not cry. I think that with the portrait there's a sort of protective veil that allows the warmth and love to shine through but somehow screens one from the pain. Photos can be just too raw, especially those of Miss Dimples who so loved the camera. The ones taken in her last few months have been especially painful to look at. You're not just a talented artist, but an excellent therapist too!

The portrait arrived this morning in perfect condition. It's beautiful. And Ulli's soul is there. It's so precious and I just love it! I realize that I never see the photos of Ulli without the feeling of sadness,
but Ulli in the portrait makes me happy, just happy and feel warm. It is wonderful. Thank you so much for your wonderful piece of art. I will get it framed this weekend. Can't wait to hang it on the wall.

Eamon's portrait arrived today and looks great, we can't wait to get a frame for it and put it on the wall! Thanks you so much for choosing him as one of your subjects and sending us the original! I hope that his picture helps out a lot of other Wolfhounds, and we are glad we could be a part of it.

What can I say?? It is a gorgeous portrait! You really managed to capture he look on their faces! I call it their "hunting"look.....as if they say "what shall we do...kill the cat now or later?"

It's here!!!!!!!!!!!!!I can't believe it-I'm just speechless-its soooooooooooooooooooo beautiful!!Somehow Colleen you have looked at photos and felt Bunty's soul as I think the portrait is very gentle and soulful-I must admit to having a few tears and I can't stop looking at it-but it gives me a real sense of calm.It will be treasured forever and I know that daily I'm going to get so much pleasure from looking at it-and talking to Bunty whilst looking at it.Colleen what a wonderful gift you have-its not just about recreating a picture but I feel you actually feel the essense of the sitter and that very strongly comes across-I'm so humbled that you took the time to do something so special for someone you haven't met in the flesh so to speak-that kindness will not be forgotten.
